This might be bad...

So, something new started up yesterday afternoon. A pulsing tingling in the bottom of my right foot. Kinda feels like the sensation you'd get if you had a TENS unit on your foot giving you a very low current. This is typically the first sign of nerve damage caused by stenosis.
If this is the case (my neurologist will no doubt want to get an MRI to see how my discs have progressed) then spinal fusion might be the next step.
I'm not looking forward to that.
Not only will it not reduce my pain (my neurologist said there was only about a 30% chance of any pain reduction at all while it would also reduce my mobility) but the recovery is grueling. I would be knocked totally out of commission for a full year due to the number of vertebrae they'd need to fuse. About 6 inches of my spine would become immobile. I mean, it's preferable to paralysis, but this has me very worried that I might be running out of time.
I really need to get moving on my Candymare comms.

My thoughts and good vibes will be with you. Best of luck.
