Play-by-post D&D RPG forums that are adult-friendly
3 days ago
This might be a weird thing to ask but until SoFurry's back on its feet, just wanna know if any of y'all out there know of any play-by-post RPG sites that don't mind sexual play? Like, I'm aware of course of D&D Beyond and Games Plane but they allow kids on their sites. While sex is not a big part of any campaign that I run, I like a little spicy play and if players are into that, I want them to be happy too.
I've recently gotten my inspiration to try and run a campaign again but I'd really prefer it if the site has a dice roller built in, though that's not necessarily a necessity. I'm more than fine with allowing players to use the honor system and roll dice however they want and just tell me the result. If you want to just lie and tell me you just keep rolling nat 20's, you're really only spoiling your own fun, after all. A big part of D&D IS the randomness and dealing with temperamental dice.
Other nice-to-have features for the site would also be the ability to post images like maps and whatnot without having to post them on a 3rd party site, and the ability to save character sheets. Again, not necessary, but would be cool to have.
Frankly, the vast majority of play-by-post sites I've found have strict policies against adult content, but I've also not really invested all that much effort into finding them so, I'm just asking if any of you know of such places that are both adult friendly and not full of adspam.

Good luck though! :3
A Round Robin story.
Difficult as it may be, if done correctly it may become a story of strangers bumping at a cross roads.
And who knows at beyond that point.
Island in the Sea of Time? Mass Isekai (large scale tragedy for chapter zero)?
Zombies (State of Decay)? Pirates? D&D Adjacent (Legends of Vox Machina)? Star Wars? Starfinder?
What ever you and the other authors think is cool enough.
The key thing for playing the campaign out though is that for one, the site has to be good with adult content, and for another, be easily navigated and have a decent notification system of a new post since as the DM, I'd be posting more than anyone else.
I remember a time at a Sci-Fi forum, a round robin story that was honestly compelling. Mechwarrior meets Tom Clancy via an Island in the Sea of Time.
It may be true that less then 10% of the net is worth any of one’s time. But there are some hidden gems out there after all.
I do hope you can find a fun time with your adult D&D adventure.
Just that if your play by post doesn’t work out, perhaps it may work via a different format.
Heck, I can’t seem to find any good Delver’s Guide to Beastworld stories as one example.
Even from the comedy of D&D stories from Mr. Ripper on YouTube.
Play-by-post is nice and casual, and it actually can proceed at a decent pace with the right people. Plus, it allows me to type out something that is fun to read.
Heck I thought this website had a forum somewhere.
Or who knows, someone resurrects so_furry.
