Why I Unlisted a Bunch of Videos
Recently, I unlisted dozens of videos on my YouTube channel. These are videos I made about model cars as well as the album reviews I made before my review of The Kingdom by Bush. The reason why I unlisted those videos is because I wasn’t really proud of them. Rather than deleting them, I thought it’d make more sense to unlist them. The video I made about all of my model cars at the time was outdated, and I don’t make those kinds of videos anymore. As for the album reviews, the original format had me end each review by looking at the album and saying that’s all I have to say about it. My research on the albums that I was reviewing back then wasn’t nearly as good as it is now. This was also back when I’d make an entire review in one day. I ended up taking a hiatus from album reviews and didn’t bring the series back until late November of 2020 when I reviewed The Kingdom by Bush. The way I made that review and every review since has me researching the album and writing the script one day so I can film, edit, and upload it at a later date. The new format also has me asking the viewer questions related to the album in question. I figured that this was the way to do it. I have considered remaking my older reviews, but that’s not gonna happen. Instead, I figured that unlisting the old reviews was a better option. Again, the videos will not be deleted. Instead, they’re just gonna stay unlisted given the fact that I had been planning on doing that for some time.
