Late October- November Update

General
Ok, first things first, what happened since my last update 2 months ago:
Long story short (too late). I underestimated just how much work and stress being an artist would be, much less an artist in the furry community.
- Three back to back conventions in August, where I learned the hard way about finding your audience in your local area, how long it takes to make physical products, quality control, inventory storage, advertising, networking, stuff tutorials dont really teach you until your right in the thick of it (and believe me I looked). turns out 6 months of planning didn't amount to crap. I'm semi burned, almost out of money and deep in the red rn. But... I'm not giving up on this, not by a long shot.
-Now unfortunately I may have to get a part-time job to get myself out of the hole I've been digging for the past 2 months, or suck it up and go back to my seasonal construction gig (pays better but the hours are a nightmare). The job market isnt looking to great in my neck of the woods.
-I will have to expand on what kind of things I draw (though honestly Ive been planning to do so). But I'm going to have to re-learn some things because wow. I cant promise anything right now but I'll try.
- I know I said I would get a shop and discord server up and running. The server is about 90% ready, but I'm trying to figure out the bot to help run it. As for the shop I'm still figuring out what would be worth selling. I also recently got a hold on some equipment that will allow me to make a wider variety of physical products (notebooks, field journals, better prints,comics etc), though that also means Ive had to reorganize my tiny space and sell what I dont want to keep for extra funds.
-Also, I now have a new member in my studio. One of roomate moved out and left his cat with us ^^
BUT WHAT DOES ANYTHING HAVE TO DO WITH YOUR WORK? WHATS COMING UP NEXT?
I'll have to stay tight lipped right now until I put things in motion, Ive been known to get ahead of myself ^^;
Right now I'm just letting you guys know I'm alive still and putting my nose further into the grindstone.
I'll be in touch.

FA+

I'm in the middle of helping my mom by working on our new kitchen, and holiday shopping is a month away. If I wanted to, I would work on an extra room or two to work as guest rooms, but I don't think she would approve. Not in this condition anyway.
I'm still working, but also finding a better job. And four or five failed interviews later...yeah.
Definitely take care of yourself and your mom first, especially in these times. Hopefully that better job comes around and the renovations work out without a hitch ^^
