We've been experiencing regular power outages for 5-18 hours every day for over two weeks now, and frankly, it's really disrupting my work. As you may have noticed, my drawing speed and frequency have dropped. I'm trying to use alternative energy sources, but even they can't always cope.
Today, we're out of power again, and it's been going on for over 27 hours now, and I have no idea when they'll turn it back on.
I feel terrible because I'm missing deadlines on all my orders and can't keep up with even the most urgent commissions. I'm ashamed of this and very sad, because commissions are my only source of income right now.
We're out of power due to drone attacks on electrical substations and massive missile attacks on critical infrastructure. "Thanks" to our wonderful neighbor who refuses to end this war.

The lights came back on after 30.5 hours of blackout. It's 8pm now and I'm forced to work at night again to get anything done. I'm really tired of all this, war sucks.

I hope you have an alternate way of storing your food that helps it not spoil when the power is out again.
The suckiest thing is I don't know what meaningful help in this situation would look like.
I guess, given the circumstances, try not to worry about stuff like the art deadlines being missed. It's not every day someone posts in a war zone.
Just do your best for yourself; everyone else can come after, when you are safe.
I have charging station for our refrigerator, so at least food is safe 😁
I hope this whole thing is over soon, in a way that benefits the people who have been attacked.
Please, please, take care of yourself. You are under attack and without power, and at the end of the day commissions are just work. Real life always comes first, especially in situations like these, so you have nothing to be ashamed of.

A very low-tech thing you can do to buy yourself more time is to get yourself a larger box - ideally insulated - and put a certain amount of ice cubes in there! It wouldn't hold a full fridge's worth of food unless you got a BIG box, and you'd still need to get ice, but >.<
