Even if you don't celebrate Samhain, set aside a moment today to think about any loved ones that aren't with us anymore and appreciate the joy they brought to your life. And if you like, you could enjoy their favorite meal or an activity they loved. Remember that grief is just love that has nowhere to go, so you can direct that love into something they would enjoy.

I've carved a jack o'lantern (modeled after the one I'm holding in my Samhain pic for this year) that I'll use to guide Elly home in my ritual this evening. I'm also thinking about booting up Monster Hunter Rise and hunting a Zinogre for her, as well as having a beef bowl and Diet Coke for dinner.
