I gotta admit, bad grammar bugs me. I know: some writers are content just to write one draft and put it online...but hopefully, some aren't. Maybe they'd like someone to proofread their work? Someone like, I dunno, me?
Yeah, kind of a shame FA doesn't allow attachments to notes, but we can work something out. Google Docs, anyone?
It's just a thought.

Can you note me on your prices?

This is slightly embarrassing, but I never thought of prices.

It helps pay the bills!

But how does it even work?

Currently, most proof readers, get between 4 and 8 cents a word for professional services. That gets expensive. But you could charge a flat fee for reading X number of words. As an example, lets say you proof read a book that has 20K words..you could charge say, $100 or so...does that make sense?

I guess so. What did you want proofread?

At the moment, nothing as I am writing my 6th novel. However, when I can afford it, I want my first 5 proof read so I can make corrections. I have found a few errors in them and it bugs me. But they are minor and few. But you should offer your service for income and to perfect your skills!

I should. I suck at self-promotion.

Makes 2 of us then. I don't know how to promote and I sure don't know how to use Amazon to promote...but one day someone will!
