'w'! Heck yeah! Virginia is famously purple as fuck, it turned practically pure blue for the first time in a LONG ass time. I guess part of it is the racism, since they thought they could get an african-american woman to represent republicans who are famously racist... That woman was running on some HEAVY transphobia, and none of what the state needed. I have family there, so I'm happy they feel safer.

It's really great to hear! I've been doing my best this year to remind people to not feel too hopeless until future ballet results. I don't think anyone has been happy with the current situation, those who say otherwise are just in denial.

I’ll admit, when I was keeping an eye on the results last night, I was focused on friends I knew who lived in those states. I was not aware that you were moving to Virginia. I saw a comment somewhere last night saying something like this:

”Hope is the flame that can never be extinguished. For whenever there is a moment of joy, hope is ready to reignite once again.”

I saw! im happy that there is some light in the darkness.

This is another example of an old life lesson; if you want something badly enough, you'll get it.
As someone who is stuck in Florida, I'm happy to see any democratic wins.
