Thinking about kink

So with drawing more NSFW for commissions, I've run into the question of what I will and won't draw?
Which I find so hard to really define... most of the time when it comes to what I will and won't draw it is a matter of my skill level- what I CAN and CAN'T draw.
I dunno, I'm just kinda at the place of ask and we can discuss. I won't judge if you don't judge me for turning down work :thumbs-up:
a lot if kink is just fantasy, make believe, enjoying the taboo... and I don't see a problem with that in most cases
I guess I'm just interested in others thoughts, since I'm kinda new to nsfw comms
obv when it comes to this website, its a bit more free for all/open to whatever lol
EDIT: I think I kinda worded this funny when I wrote it earlier lol, I'm still getting over years of feeling nsfw art is like bad in some way ?
I'm just very happy getting to explore more, there's a lot of stuff out there I may not enjoy personally kink-wise, but I appreciate the art side of it :]

It gives a better feel of what kinks/fetishes/themes that you're comfortable (or enjoy) drawing the most, which ones you don't mind drawing and ones that you're not fond of!
I did wonder before—politely—if you'd ever be privy to nsfw artwork, just as a selfish curiosity. I am certainly piqued with this journal and would definitely be interested in getting some tasteful nsfw or kink art done from you, if you'd like to talk abt it some time. <3 I'm actually really in the market for something this month? lmk :)
but those things being said, I DO have some feelings about this as Another Artist who definitely had their own journey with regard to NSFW art and kink, if you don't mind me spouting a bit here :'))
I think everyone's experience is different and there's not really a standard to be followed in terms of how you approach it? The world of kink is SO vast and everyone's tastes differ so greatly that it's impossible to cater to everything, or even expect to understand some of it. While i AM an extremely kink-oriented person myself, I definitely have my fixations as much as I also have things I am completely repulsed by. Having an aversion to specific kinks—especially drawing them as commission work—is completely normal to feel, and nothing you should feel guilty about saying no to! Obviously I'm sure you'd lean more into doing the nsfw stuff that speaks to YOU and your tastes, with a bit of a grey area in between your yes and nos that's like... 'yeah, I could see why someone would like this even if I have no feelings about it,' which is kind of where -I- end up landing on the 'would I draw this?' scale.
You said it yourself that you don't see a problem with most of the things you describe, and I think that's the ticket for the most part. Being flexible to others' tastes and interests as you slowly dip your toes into the water, taking the depth of it at your own pace. I suppose my unsolicited advice would be to not rush yourself or your expectations, I think it's easy to succumb to a very specific and not-talked-about-enough pressure that takes place in NSFW scenes where you end up feeling expected to deliver on certain niches. No artist owes that to anyone! Maybe I am saying this out of my own experience feeling inundated with expectation to keep churning out pieces related to -my- kinks, which somewhat disenfranchised me from wanting to do NSFW comms indefinitely. =_= even if I do draw a buncha naughties for myself lol.
anyway. Longer than I anticipated. I hope this didn't come off unsolicited! You've just always been one of my favorite artists that I've followed and been endeared to for years. So this specific post piqued my interest in a unique way. <:) I just wish you all the best!!!!!
