Kaiji Koji update: stuck on relation

heya Y'all. got another update for y'all.
so the good news it I've made it to Chapter 3 and I'm getting closer towards writing the end of it. if I may I feel extremely confident about this story. I think this might be some of my best writing so far.
with that said I've ran into 2 things.
1: regarding IRL stuff my Job has been running me ragged a bit but hopefully the following weeks should slow down a bit and I'm gonna try to force myself to use some of my time off to get further into the story for y'all. time management hasn't been my strongest strength.
2: regarding the story while I feel confident in alot of it I am noticing an area I am faltering. the relationship between two characters I feel I'm lacking in. I'm attempting to really drive home just how important these two are for each other and while I feel I have the vibe right I'm not writing it like it should. to try and simplify it..."I understand their love but will the audience?" like I want this to feel real and genuine.
with all that said still trying to whip myself into getting this out as soon as I can. know that I appreciate every one of you and I hope the fun stuff I'll make after will more than make up for over a lackluster story year.
