Hello there , Watchers great and small!
Long Story Short: 2 years ago I lost my really good paying job to BS internal politics — you will be happy to know the person responsible got their ass fired this week so that is a nice ray of sunshine to me in the vindication department — but I digress.
Two years ago I took a Historian position which is seasonal fulltime and I am running out of hours so I have been cut back to enough to keep me an active employee but nowhere near what I need to survive.
I go back onto a full time 40 hours a week schedule in mid January 2026 , with the possibility of a management position at my current job that is up for grabs that I have applied for. If I can land that, I will be fine from that point on. Until then, I an trying to build up a slush fund to keep my car mine, a roof over my head and a little bit of food on the table.
