Hey all!
Thanks everyone who's checked out the Halloween Test Build so far! Really warmed by the reception to it, but please do continue to leave feedback to help us get a good gauge on things!
The purpose of this particular test room is to show the Grapple combat front and centre: a useful tool for us to introduce a dynamic form of interaction in battles and the world in general (ie, the moth, mimic and imp fights of Legacy Grove).
Do note however that in the full game it'll be a largely optional form of combat. So don't worry if you prefer the classic turn-based style, it won't be going anywhere!

That aside, just poking in for the usual enemy poll!

New one is no good
I could sort of see a game where this is the only kind of combat, and as you progress in the game and the player is expected to have more and more familiarity/practice you could remove the training wheels and demand memorization and quick thinking as represented by enemies screwing with the interface in various ways, but for optional combat and a new mechanic it's too much too quickly as is.
