The "I'm taking you all down with me" problem.

Karno's Rare-Because-He-Never-Has-Time Blather:
Here's a pretty clear definition of the narcissistic sociopath:

Does this remind you of anyone that's been in the news a lot, lately? Hint: He's very high up in the political hierarchy.
And in COMPLETELY UNRELATED historical musings - When Germany had well and truly lost World War 2, Hitler ordered that what was left of his country's infrastructure be destroyed. Bridges blown up, the electrical grid taken down, etc. Ostensibly so that the Allied invaders couldn't use it, but his ravings made the real reason clear: It was to punish the German nation for having failed him.
But a handful of his generals, less insane than the Fuehrer, flew around countermanding those orders. Thereby saving not only Germany's infrastructure, but countless lives, also.
I gotta wonder, when America's Maximum Leader realizes that the jig is up for him - assuming his dementia allows him such complex thoughts by then - will he try the same? Break everything rather than let some Democrat president-elect play with HIS toys? Will anyone in his party have the spine to do the same as Hitler's generals, to stand up to him and prevent the worst of the damage?
.......Well.....maybe it won't matter. Robert H. Jackson, chief prosecutor for the Americans at the Nüremberg trials of the Nazi high command, said in a report to Pres. Harry Truman:
"It was really the recoil of the Nazi blows at liberty that destroyed the Nazi regime. They struck down freedom of speech and press and other freedoms which pass as ordinary civil rights with us, so thoroughly that not even the highest officers dared to warn the people or the Fuehrer that they were taking the road to destruction".
But censorship was a lot easier in those pre-television, pre-internet days. Now we have people shouting warnings 24/7. Looka me, doing it right now!
So yeah, we have been warned. Repeatedly. Will we do anything about it?

Between that and all the gerrymandering to make it so Republicans win as many seats as possible, I would not be surprised to hear of people being shot by roving bands of 'patriots' deployed by the president to 'keep the peace'.
Democrats are trying their best to destroy this country.
Democrats can't look in the mirror.
👍
Catching on.You know, its basicly like in those classic disaster movies where everyone ignores the expert that warns about a huge catastrophe, then it happens, everyone is like: "Oh no! Why didnt we know earlier about this???"
Then the expert is like: "Dude! I told you WEEKS ago about this, and you preferred to ignore me, so all i can say now is like: Told, you, Asshole!!!"
And of course then everyone is like: "Okay uh, can you help us? And lets ignore that we ignored you all the time..."
Doing whatever they can to make sure they're immortalized in any way, be it statues, places named after them, being put in the history books, staying within a "high score" with their lifetime savings/earnings, having many children (legitimate or otherwise), trying to discover a way they can literally become immortal by funding science/engineering, etc, etc...
No. Most people really don't care unless it affects them personally. *cough*
Drumpf is already wrecking the country piece by piece, starting with the constitution.
And haha! That wolly's always good for a laugh!
There is not a police officer in this nation that wants to do 12 years in prison.
wow
yea i hope that there are republicans with souls whimper
I'm certain he likes the situation, but you can't blame him for being careful (when it suits him). There are 2 meme that go around the internet and they might not be completelly deranged:
- Congress votes for budget, not Trump.
- Emergency funds legal use is in legal limbo, some judge says ok, other not.
Also there the idea that "Trump, do something !!!" smells much like wanting a King over the USA.
As a matter of fact, they clearly have.

All the more reason you shouldn't let anybody or any group have too much power.
And sometimes, you need to let things collapse before building something newer and better.
