Ask Simba Update: Alt Ways of Submitting Questions
a month ago
General
I've been thinking of how many people on websites besides Tumblr have wanted to submit questions to Ask Simba (https://ask-simba.tumblr.com/) but haven't been able to because 1) current policy is you must submit through Tumblr, and 2) I didn't realize at first that Tumblr doesn't allow even anonymous asks from people without accounts anymore, doubtlessly to cut down on harassment.
Thing is, well, I'd argue most of the people who found the blog found it through art sharing websites like deviantArt and Furaffinity instead of Tumblr itself. Seems a little unfair of me to cut them all off from participating.
So here you go.
All of the other rules (https://ask-simba.tumblr.com/rules) are still in effect, so any comments that don't abide by them will be deleted, but otherwise this journal will act as another place I collect inspiration for future updates. This comes with the added benefits (or downsides, depending on how you think of it I guess) of askers still needing accounts so they're less incentivized to be weird or mean, and questions on these platforms being public potentially serves as inspiration for others' own inquiries.
If this works out it'll be how I run things moving forward. If not, I'll consider alternative options. Hope this does a little something for you all. Cheers.

You can now leave questions for Simba as replies to this journal!
