New Ref Sheet In The Works plus RL ramblings.

Got a new Athena Reference Sheet incoming, I'm hoping to get it done by early 2026 as I have a lot of work to do, in order to get it done.

Considering her look has been updated, I'm needing to make a new reference sheet!
Going on six years with this fursona and I'm still so very attached to her.

Very excited to get her ref sheet all updated and looking awesome. As usual her ref sheet will feature 3 outfits: Casual, her armored look, and her PJs.
She's my 'brand' fursona, for my twitch streaming, and overall logo stuff. (I even made a chibi of her to use as a PNG tuber): https://www.furaffinity.net/view/62705519/
So, hoping to get her all updated and looking awesome <3.
I love that in all the time I've had her, she hasn't changed appearance-wise too much. I"ve always kept her markings the same and her hair color the same, along with her eyes. (Might feature some of her magic in one of the ref images <3 )
I didn't want to ramble too much in my ref incoming submission, but I pulled this from there.
Athena's been a bit of a mental warrior for me especially through times of hardship, and uncertainty. I've pulled my strength from this character I made, along with support from my friends and chosen family, along with my girlfriend. (10 years with her December 23rd!).
This fursona started out as a way for me to fight my troubles, and vent when I needed it, much like my previous fox fursonas I've had. Athena kind of encapsulates all the previous fursonas with the lessons I've learned and the strength I've managed to get through shit I've had to go through.
I cut my toxic as fuck family out completely in 2023 and I don't regret it. They never made me feel good enough. In 2021 I cut my dad out, and used a vent piece to have it that Athena was blasting the darkness that kept her down and belittled her for years.

In 2023, I moved to an apartment closer to downtown where I live and it has been so good here already. I finally got out of the basement suite I had been living in (no bedroom, it was a bachelor suite) for almost 10 years. Now I'm going to be here in my 1 bedroom apartment for 3 years next August and I love how close it is to my favorite spot in my town which is the waterfront.
I just need to work on my ankle still to get it working properly as it's hard to walk when it causes you pain.
But yeah, Athena...she's been the literal warrior 'self' in a way, and I'm glad I've made her <3.
Anyway, enough rambling lol. I'm glad to be getting stronger mentally day by day and pulling on my strengths to get through every day as sometimes it's hard to even get out of bed at times thanks to my depression and anxiety being an absolute ass sometimes. But, I'm doing my best. That's all I really can do.
