Honestly I think that ref sheet I did for Athena blasted my art block to smithereens.
I got inspiration from some pokemon music I was listening to, to do a piece of art that's tentatively being called "Return To Lumiose City"
Pokemon had always been a comfort game for me since I officially started playing on Pokemon Platinum in 2009. I loved the anime before that though and played a bit of Diamond/pearl from I think a family member who had let me borrow their game.
My dedication to Pokemon stems from the OG Anime and movies in the 90s/early 2000s and I absolutely fell in love with Dragonair, who was my first tattoo in 2009. I have a pair of them on my lower back from a friend doing a stick 'n poke (and let me tell you, that tattoo is FADED AS HELL but you can still kinda see it)
The piece I'm working on shows the rooftops of Lumiose with Prism Tower rising above them and my current character and a Delphox (Fennekin was my starter in X/Y), standing beside them, gazing out over the rooftops at night, with Prism Tower glowing softly.
It's a big piece, as I'm actually doing a background/city scape and I'm not used to them so I'm not sure how long this piece is gonna take, but I'm excited for it.
