Zootopia 2 Review

Hi there
First, Happy Thanksgiving to everyone who celebrates it. I hope you all have a fun and safe Thanksgiving this year. Now onto the review.
We saw Zootopia 2 last night, and I love it. I really enjoy it.
Is it better than the first movie? No, but let's be honest: most sequels are never better than the original. As a continuation of the first film, though, it was great. It's more fun, more emotional, and darker than the first movie. Expanding world and lore of Zootopia, with the introduction of reptiles. They do have a good explanation of why reptiles were not mentioned or seen in the first movie, which makes sense and fits within the themes of both films. With a great cast of new and returning characters, including Nick and Judy continuing their relationship from the first movie, and the new character, Gary the snake, is instantly lovable. Overall, it's a fun, funny, action-packed, and emotional film from start to finish. By the way, I will mention that there is a post-credit scene that may or may not hint at a third film. ;)
This is part of the review where I'm going into more detail about the plot of the movie, which will be more spoilerly, but I won't reveal too much, like who the villain of the movie but I will talk about that.
Nick and Judy's Relationship
Fans of the Nick and Judy shipping will probably be a little disappointed with this movie because by the end of the film, Nick and Judy are still just friends, but their friendship and relationship have gotten a lot stronger in this movie, which feels more natural with their development here.
The Twist Villain Trope
Yeah, like the first movie, this movie does have a twist villain trope, but unlike the first movie, I did not see this one coming, and I was shocked because I was liking this character up to that point. But after I have some time to think it over, it makes sense for this character to make that turn, but I do feel sorry for them by the end of the movie.
The Cast of Characters
As I mentioned, the movie has a great cast of new and returning characters; almost all of the characters from the first film have shown up in the sequel in one form or another. There is a fun scene with Mr. Big, Fru Fru, and little Judith, and a funny chase scene with Flash the sloth, even Bellwether, the main villain from the first movie, had a couple of funny scenes. Gary the snake is instantly lovable, and you do feel for him on his mission to clear his family's name throughout the movie, and Nibbles the Beaver is a fun addition to the cast as well.
Expanding the World and Lore of Zootopia
They expanded the world of Zootopia by adding some more locations, like the Marsh Market, a marshland location where most of the aquatic mammals live, like seals and dolphins, a hidden reptiles club, and a village. With the introduction of reptiles into the world of Zootopia, and expanding the lore on why reptiles are banned from Zootopia, which is a very sad and dark tale. In fact, this is a lot darker story than the first one, especially when they get into the story of the reptiles and Gary.
As I said, this is a fun, funny movie, but like the first movie, it does tackle themes of prejudice and racism in a cute talking animal world, which is what I love about the first movie, cause it does not hold back addressing those issues.
Overall, if you love the first Zootopia movie, you're more likely to love the sequel.

FA+

All they said is that they are looking into making user creative content using AI technology through Disney+, but not making AI content from themselves.
For all we know, it probably will just end up being just a dumb kids app using AI technology that will be extremely restricted on what you can create with the Disney IP within the app.
