Well, unfortunately, I ran out of steam the final week of the challenge and only found the motivation to get a little writing done over the holidays. As a result, I fell short of the 50,000 goal. That said, I still have 36,000 more words now than I did when I started the month, so while I may not have hit my goal, I still made quite a lot of progress. I think I learned that I'm more successful at maintaining momentum when I juggle projects rather than fixate on one at the cost of all others. 😅

Great learning experience, and I'm glad I gave the challenge a try! And I do fully intend to finish the new novel in the coming days. :)
