Wild Moment of Realization

Its rare but do you ever have one of those moments that makes you go, "wow..." as you are amazed at learning something new in regards to something you greatly enjoy? When you find out something super interesting that blows your mind from something long ago. I just had a moment like that. I'll explain.
Long long long long long long lonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnng ago, I had this music CD. To give a date, somewhere in the 1990's. That's like a billion years ago! (30 years roughly *chuckle*) So, I had this music CD and on the second track there was this "Chrip" or like a skip in the CD. It lasted for half a second, a real quick "CHIK" sound in the background. I thought FOREVER that it was my CD that had a blemish on it. A defect that caused a play back error. Early today I had some of those songs playing in my head, and its been a long time since I've listened to that CD, so I looked it up on Youtube and listened. Its one of my most favorite CD's of all time. That skip...that sound...its there...ITS PART OF THE SONG! That error is recorded into the song! Fore decades I thought my CD had a slight damage on it but its genuinely...simply...a part of the song. Wow. ...wow.
I know it doesn't sound like much, and maybe its not that big a deal, but to me I learned something interesting. All this time I thought my CD was damaged, and its part of the recording. Heh!
I have another story like this, where I learned something fascinating that makes you stop for a moment and go, "Wow".
So now its your turn! Hell ya! Tell me story where you had a very mind blowing "Wow!" moment! Where you learned something and it made you stop and think like you had learned a small secret to the universe. :D

Trying to think of a good "wow" moment and nothing's coming to me at the moment, but its late.
Something definitely like the spoken word that the human ear is so used to picking up, made even more unusual due to the fact the song has no lyrics.
I saw a video of a live performance of the same song a few years later, turns out it's the pianist "scatting" along with his erratic piano playing, helping keep time with a "dakka-da-dakka-da-da-dakka" kind of cadence and it bled into the original recording.
I cannot enjoy chewing gum ever since because I will be reminded of sawing a window open and extracting the sealant xD
I hope my "wow" moment didn't ruin anyone's experience with chewing on sealant xD
In hindsight, I may not be very smart. The rest of the displayed colors were still fine, lmao. I just thought it was something similar to what happens when you insert a headphone cable only halfway into the slot and get some funky results.
But I get what you mean, the game colors changed suddenly and the only thing you could think up was that maybe it was damaged. That's a big face palm moment. x)
I went through my favorites playlist on youtube (I know I saved it there) and couldn't find it.
And don't worry about not finding the song. I wanted to give an example myself, and for the life of me, couldn't think of one.
Better look for an acoustic version, I guess.
My personal Vietnam from a while ago was finding out and comprehending what sound libraries are. I can't say there was any one specific moment, just gradual acceptance. At the time there would be an awe and amusement of hearing a piece of audio in multiple places. A direct example likely familiar to people is the track Jungle Drums sharing the eerie soundbyte used with "return the slab", and I believe that same sound was used a documentary or two.
Nowadays, hearing these doesn't generally mean much although sometimes I still get the "oh that's where that's from" bug.
