GOOD NEWS EVERYONE!!!
We were successfully able to gather what we needed for the first half of our rent just in time before the deadline! :D
While we still need to get up the remaining 800 in addition to handling other bills that have accumulated during this time...the weight of the fear of possible eviction repeating has been lifted and we can breathe a little easier.
My partner is continuing his search for a 2nd job while hours at his primary job is limited due to it being off season since we're in a major beach town.
I am continuing to work on art every day.
We both are absolutely hell bent on making sure we keep our home.
Seriously, yall this is the first place that has truly felt like HOME for both of us that we've had in a very very long time.
We have so many awesome plans to fully make this space our own and unlike anywhere else we've ever resided.
I still don't know how long my brother will be gone from our home but I am in contact with him and am looking forward to getting to see him at Christmas. I just might fully tackle hug that fool since it'll be over 2 full months since I've seen him in person.
I'm going to paint his room as a surprise for him because I do know at some point he will come back here.
He's a huuuuge pokemon nerd and has mentioned many times he wants his room to be green so I think I'm gonna make it look like a Grass Type gym since not only does he favor alot of grass types, it's perfectly on brand for how much he already has alot of plants and nature decor. His bathroom is already beach themed so I might style that after water gym elements as well.
I'm planning to paint every inch of this place because I seriously cannot stand boring bland white landlord special assed walls lol
We're both maximalists so I'm planning to go all out! :D
I plan on making my kids room arcade themed. My partner and my room is going to be cosmic and our bathroom is cosmic as well but lately I've been thinking about going full on 90s celestial whimsigoth for it. Things can always change but regardless I plan on having this home be so unique people question if they've walked into a mini home version of Meow Wolf haha
Thankfully we've been cleared to paint the place however we like as long as it's all painted back to white before we move out when we decide but like....honestly unless we somehow are able to build our literal dream home we're looking to call this place home for a super hot minute. :3c
