The End of MFF 2025

As of tonight MFF 2025 came to an end. I will do my best to summarize everything I did this weekend so please, come and join me with another patented ramble from your local purple bird. Also if you stopped by to chat with me at the con please by all means comment in this journal!
THURSDAY was the usual slow burn, what with getting in line for registration and all that, so I didn't really attend any events aside from a 90's Nickelodeon Panel which was... okay? Nothing really jumped out at me with it. Mainly this was the day for me to get reacquainted with my friends as well as meet many new faces, which was a very nice time for certain~
FRIDAY was a big day for me, I talked about this on Bluesky as well but I had a very gracious opportunity to co-host a panel for growth and expansion~! This was my first time ever being apart of a panel, but it was really fun! It was almost surreal talking about round things in a public setting like that, but I was in good company and I feel as though we all enjoyed our time. I really gotta give my thanks to Buddy Goodboy for the opportunity, and I hope I can do it again next year!
Other than that I went to my usual bird meet up that day and enjoyed the birdwatching. I also found out there was a Tulin suiter around, but they never showed up at the bird panel, which was a shame! Friday was also the big fatfur meet up, and I honestly felt so bad because I was just low battery all night. Still, I did my best to socialize, and I think it worked out in the end.
SATURDAY picked up tremendously. After playing many rounds of Chunithm and Groove Coaster I spent a lot of time with friends and just vibing out hardcore. I probably could have done more, but I was just happy to be there. Pokémon meet up happened that day too, and it was a great crowd even though the room was a bit cramped. I also had an opportunity to meet a Meowscarada suiter who happened to perform at the Floor Wars back in Anthrocon this summer so it was really exciting to see them at the meet up!
There was also an inflatable suit panel later that evening and that was probably the highlight for that day. So many big suits, and a lot of folk who recognized my badge came to chat, which was honestly really nice and I super appreciated the company! After a couple more panels I decided to retire for the night and prepare for the hardest day of the con: The last day.
SUNDAY basically consisted of going around the convention space one last time and saying my goodbyes to everyone I met. Though it did end on a high note with getting together with a bunch of other expansion artist friends and just having a merry old time. After a dinner at an amazing restaurant it was finally time to head home and lay this wonderful weekend to rest.
Having another furry convention come to an end never stops being hard to process, but since the last couple times I've learned to take it better even if it's just a little bit.
To all my friends I met, the new faces, and everyone in between, from the bottom of my heart: Thank you for making my year a lot better. I hope to see you all next year~

FA+

also funny that the theatrhythm machine unbroke on Saturday, but caused a circuit break an hour or so later so they had to remove it again, lol
Yeah, great running into you at the convention!
