FA's moderation on tags is awful (Rant)

Hello Teebs here, its rant time.
Ok, like. I feel like I've been very patient with the new staff that have taken over FA and there's been a lot of positive progress in the last year... but can we talk about this?
I am so fkn tired of searching for stuff on FA and for someone to have inappropriately tagged their stuff. I am so tired of seeing this like snuff, literal shit, and bestiality when their tag system should have solved it. NOW I am all one for free expression of art, but that doesn't mean someone's else's bad tagging should mean I have to see it. This is the #1 reason furries don't use FA, hands down (aside from maybe the long posting times/effort).
My very resonable response: Ok, I'll just file a ticket to make sure the non-tagging artist is given a heads up. What response do I get?

We are currently not adding tags to user submissions. While we understand the frustration at the lack of certain tags, we are currently looking into this as we continue to improve our tagging functionality.

This was 2 months ago. And the tags were added a year ago. What exactly is the plan here? Whats the point of new servers or anything else if I can't even browse the platform without being flashed with whatever new untagged crème du jour is available?
I do the same on bluesky, I get a response and the stuff is immediately given the proper tags, no fuss, no disaster. Surely it isn't that difficult for a moderator to clearly see something is wrongly tagged.
Sidenote:
Big dishonorable mention to FA's policy of not allowing any sort of pointing out of scammers. This community has gotten absolutely swamped with commission scams and you're telling me we get punished if we dare even try to warn people about said scammers? Honestly, at this point, we need to like restart a verified artist program like days long past. People, especially very popular artists, can't be allowed to keep getting away with stuff like this.
Its driving me crazy, but at least they don't let anything AI onto the platform. Don't get me started on Deviantart. You get a gold star on that FA, just please dont just blanket ban people without making sure their stuff isn't actually AI...

I wholeheartedly believed is was lackluster moderation, and totally think Callout Punishment is stupid ESPECIALLY when you can absolutely prove it.
And well, the tagging system will never be perfect, since, not everybody appropriately uses it.
So shit you dont wanna see will always sneak in.
Its definitely in my top pet peeves, but everyone I talk to who uses like the other social media say the same thing. Seeing stuff they don't want to is always like their go-to answer. I'm sure there are other significant reasons as well like FAs liberal content restriction. Another reason to have a strong tagging system...
I brought it up 14 months ago and it's still there. Makes looking up feathered serpents fun when people don't even know it's an option on the list, just on the wrong spot.
