When It Rains, It Pours (EMERGENCY ADOPT SALE: 25% OFF)

General
A couple weeks ago, with Thanksgiving behind me and all of the insanity of that whole debacle in the middle of November seemingly over with, I thought I could finally move on and have a happy Christmas, where I got some good gifts for my loved ones and would be able to see some family I haven't seen in a long while. Plus, the second anniversary of me starting this FA account was coming up soon, and I couldn't wait to introduce you to a long-standing OC of mine.
Then that illusion of peace and happiness was rudely shattered when the diodes inside of the alternator of my car started to melt and give off a weird metallic yet sweet smell that permeated through my car, while also making it harder to travel through the mountains where I live.
And since my car is the thing that I, as an American, unfortunately require functional to LIVE, I have had to shell out several hundred dollars I technically don't own and now I am back in financial trouble.
AGAIN!!!
Thankfully the damage wasn't that bad, and it turned out that the alternator was under warranty, so I'm mainly just paying for labor, a few extra parts, and to get my tires replaced while I'm at it because those are so worn down the penny test is an abject failure.
Buuut the decision between having a functional car and having Christmas turned out to be a rather sadistic one, so once again, as much as it pains my pride to do so, I am turning to you, the Internet, for help in this trying time.
It is the season of giving, and in that spirit, I am going to be updating my list of adopts to include some rather lovely ones I was holding onto as potential roleplaying characters, as well as starting a 25% off sale for the Twelve Days of Christmas, or at least the twelve days until and including Christmas, and sure Boxing Day (December 26th), too, cuz you rock, Canada!
And if you don't want to rehome my many lovely ladies, but still want to help, feel free to contact me and we can arrange something.
Thank you all so much for two incredible years, and I wish we could celebrate under better circumstances.
