How do people write while working full time???

My mental capacity is just *fart noise* after my shift :v
I managed in my previous call because the space between calls was so long, I had time to either read or write a couple lines at a time in between. Here, the calls are literally one after the other, doing lots of multitasking and talking all at once. It's draining! I just write fatty RPs with bots occasionally now.
Gonna go speak to the company-assigned therapist soon about learning how to reclaim my life again, because I feel kinda hollow without being able to constantly upload stories.
Either that, or pester Devon again to do more collab stuff. That's always been fun.
Also been on a huge Archipelago randomizer kick, so if anyone's interested HMU

The are fancy HR.
Easiest way to lose your job.
It's a third party therapist through Lyra, I (((think))). I'm gonna do some research now though lol
Sometimes it is a bit of a matter of just brute-forcing it, open the notepad file and write a line or two, and you may luck out and get the flow going, or you may not, but at least you wrote a few sentences.
If you're working on longer, plot-heavier projects that you can't find the energy to get back into, write something short and horny with less stakes to it so you can get that feeling of accomplishment of finishing a project.
I got nailed with the dreaded writer's block around midway through this year myself thanks to work, I'm hoping a long break will help me reset.
And, like Lumes said, I wouldn't trust a corporate therapist. See if you can find a nice private practice in your area instead. The added benefit of that is, if you leave the job you're at, you don't have to start all over again with a new therapist.
All the writing I've been doing lately has been offline, silly stuff. Def nothing I want to upload even with edits, but I'll def take a look at that. I'll try to force a writing day on my days off like you said, one or two sentences at a time.
And yeah, I shoulda mentioned earlier the therapist is through Lyra. Def gonna take a look to see if it's good or nah.
Also, why am I not following you your writing is amazing :v
Good luck! Theoretically anything you tell them should be HIPAA protected but yeah, look into 'em first. Make sure there are no clauses in any agreements you sign that might allow them to disclose to your employers.
And hey, thanks! Glad ya like my stuff.
