What is the age of being an adult? Is it the age that the government sets for us, or is it how the mind matures? When you were a minor, did you think that you knew more than everyone else, or were you still developing? Even as adults, including us older ones, we still ask for advice. I know that in this country, the age for us in most states is set at 18. I think that the drinking age should be 18 also because of different reasons why I won’t get into. I think that before that age, there are certain things that minors shouldn’t be doing because the mind is still developing, and it would be a bad thing to make a decision that could screw someone up for the rest of their lives. When they become an adult you are free to do whatever you want, but many of us including myself will make choices, and should be responsible when doing so. Just remember that old saying, what we do now can haunt us several years in the future when you least expect it. Just don't go whining when things that you thought were a good trade suddenly go bad after a spell. As for parents, don’t force your kids into things that are going to mess up their lives in the future just so it makes you feel good or gives you something to brag about. Be a parent who is supportive whether they want to go to a fancy college for a nice degree or a trade school for a skill.

ConfusionConnecticut dropped the drinking (and voting) age to 18 around the time I turned 18. It was a HORRENDOUS mistake. The number of alcohol-related traffic deaths went up so high, so fast that they raised the drinking age back to 21 within a few years. Voting age is still 18 but that gets fewer people killed. As fearful as I may be of letting some computer drive the car... I must admit that where people insist on getting drunk, that really is a far better option then self-driving under the influence.
Although, another video stated that the newest coming-of-age generations are far less likely to want alcohol, along with some other changing trends.
San Francisco lost power for a night, recently. all the 'self-driving' vehicles went to 'fail safe' mode, better known as STOP.
