Here We Fucking Go - Insurance is Bullshit and Needs to Die

I got a letter in the mail today. My surgical care team that did my bottom surgery is appealing coverage denial from my health insurance provider.
My insurance is denying a medical billing code, which they pre-authorized THIS YEAR and is specifically listed in the letter as being approved, for a procedure that has been completed. It's done. I can't undo my vaginoplasty. It's three months later and they're trying to wriggle and squirm their way out of covering everything they possibly can.
I don't have the energy to fight this if insurance denies the appeal. I'll have to, because I can't afford to pay for ANY of this out of pocket. We're talking about tens of thousands of dollars that I could owe, if the hospital doesn't decide to be charitable and eat the expense for my benefit.
I ran the numbers recently. All of the billed items so far amount to nearly $95,000. I don't know about you, but I don't have $100K just lying around.

I want to scream. I want to burn this fucking system to the ground. If they deny the appeals I WILL make this a very public legal issue and I WILL make their existence a living hell with every ounce of strength I can muster.
