If you have seen the announcement that the classic HAS to be retired, I feel that the best time would be next year, and I will fully integrate myself into after Further Confusion. I did have a bit of time having to get used to the modern layout, and I like it a bit-at least like  Weasyl, I can put my journals in a rating like the arts- so no fear going to mature or adult. Though I would think that the mobile version could have been better as it is more cluttered than the desktop/laptop version, I will force myself to get used to the layout there. I have never uploaded anything on the modern FA layout, so I may not be ready to use it right away. I will revert to classic for that reason, and once I feel like I'm ready to do it, I will try for modern. As it was with  Fender's journal: https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/11265341/ , I'm the minority having to be the 4.6% that still uses the classic version as an active account. Well, this is the time to change that, and I will integrate with the majority.

And once again, I will be going to FurCon for the 12th time. I might participate in FC: Unleashed! again as it was that I had seen my uncle in REALLY bad shape when my cousin accidentally dialed me up on that Saturday last FC, and though it was a moment of looking, and I was disconnected after about 3 seconds, it was enough to have me really depressed as I knew what was coming. I was getting ready to quit FC, but somehow, a voice told me to stay and enjoy life and also to proceed in doing that poem that I recited last FC:U! The sad thing was the VERY NEXT DAY, JANUARY 21, HE DIED OF BONE CANCER. And he deteriorated so fast- I thought he would live to last May when the diagnosis was made the November before. I will participate again, and I don't have to try my best to win a prize there, but to bring out my feelings there as really that almost had me NOT perform. Therefore, I will do something that would be in remembrance of him-hopefully me singing a song there will bring out my feelings of love towards him. I miss him badly. And as a good measure, I will put that sweater from Stand Up to Cancer in memory of him: https://standuptocancer.org/ . So if I'm picked to perform for the audience and if the applause is resounding enough to show that everyone does care about my loss last year, expect me to be VERY emotional.
But please, if it is that you are going to influence the judges for me to win if you attend and try to applaud to get them to vote for me to finish 1st, 2nd, 3rd, DON'T. Let them be fair and not have any bias. I do not expect anything from them-me doing my skit is from the heart.

So let me see what will come up for the New Year, and I look forward to lots of fun and education ahead at Further Confusion, where if I do have the will, I will take pictures, and upload them to FA in the modern version.
