a rather unfortunate side effect from how I approach making stories is I often go with my creative flow as I go on. sometimes ideas as I continue on grow to either be more strong or more weak. as I've dwelled upon my current story I've realized not only have I written a character that ultimately serves no purpose but that there's elements I should change to better fit the narrative.

basically Kaiji's story is going to take a bit longer as I need to edit/rewrite stuff to better fit what I feel will make it stronger.

as a result I am going to clean up Mary's story and have it published sometime before the end of January. initially I wanted to publish both at the same time but as Kaiji's story keeps taking longer to make I realize having you all wait for both when one is already complete is rather foolish of me.

I will say to give a heads up (as of my last time reading Mary's Portion of the story) it won't be as refined as Kaiji's. I took a different approach to writing it and I at least hope it's an enjoyable read. with that said both stories are ment to be read together and as such they share a subtitle that won't make sense at first.
