Wasteland Oasis time lol
Ended up in an apocalypse style wasteland-esc type area. Hundreds of intricate tunnels
and dwellings all interconnected but made from debris and scrap. Someone called it Aparthi.
Was trying to navigate through the place, walking through many "tunnels" and shacks, kind
of fallout-y style builds with metal sheets and wood
I had to be careful, people didn't really act like I belonged there, and I did my best to avoid
eye contact or avoided people entirely cuz they'd jeer and try and get your attention. At one
point, I went through what looked like a regular shed, but a garage door opened up and
someone was trying to push in an old car, and were like "HEY, what are you doin in here??"
And yoinked me out by my arm.
I was suddenly in a clearing surrounded on all sides by more wood and metal sheet, but
unlike the rest of the wasteland, there were plants here and there, and in the middle was
a very large, crystal clear pond. An Oasis, basically. People were sitting around on the walls
in like, built in "seating". (Basically just outcrops and divots/holes in the walls)
There was a general ripple of talking, jeering, and whispering about me, people yelling out
about how I got there, what was I doing, was I threat etc etc. I kind of stood there half
hunkered down, eyes flitting everywhere as I tried to figure out what to do. It was then I
noticed everyone there was only half human. They all had animalistic looks to them and
various species of body parts, tails, ears, etc.
I ended up focusing on one lady who was on the wall, sitting on a jutting out piece of wood.
She was a black lady with half afro and half braided hair. She also had 4 long whiskers, two on
her cheeks, two on her forehead. She had a long, dark grey/brown fish tail as well. "excuse me
but....are you a catfish??" I called out to her and then everyone got quiet. She smiled at me and
hopped off the wall, walking over to me. "You bet I am" she said before taking me by both
hands and pulling me into the water.
The water was crystal clear, and bright, with several glowing plants. She became more mermaid
at this point as well, smiling the whole time in a non-threatening way. She took me under the
water and just kind of swirled me about for a bit. I told her I wanted to be half cat but with no
fish and she laughed at that, letting go of my hands and swimming off a ways. She came back
with a box of some sort of ingredient, no idea what it was and said I'd need it later probably.
(and yes this all happened under water lmao)
I woke up not long after that
