Hihi! Just a quick check in journal.
Mom's surgery went well, even smoother than last Fall. Instead of being in the hospital for 2 days she came home the same day. She's also doing well physically. So I expect to get one more work day in on this Friday, before the weekend hits, but for today and tomorrow I'll be afk as she recovers. I thank everyone for their patience on this! I'm very lucky I have a job that can absorb Life Commitments so well... but between you, me and the grand piano, I miss art too much to be gone for long ^^;
Commissions are POSSIBLY going to open early or mid February. I haven't decided yet and I want to get more Dec comms completed before I really even consider an opening date. So yeah, my profile page as always will have the most utd opening. I expect to update it next week regardless of what date I choose, so check there if you're interested in a commission for February.
We got some of the snow storm but, unlike the lower part of the country we were lucky to not get anything insane for OUR area, (ahh if anything we're under our usual lmao) and our infrastructure is used to handling this nonsense. Despite being in the negatives/some absolutely murderous wind, there's been no power issues. IF power goes down, my phone's data will let me update here and discord.
