General
Do not use Adobe products. Do not pay for them, do not subscribe to their services, do not even pirate them (even if it's always morally correct).
Context:
In a move that should come as a surprise to nobody who has a pulse, Adobe has decided to screw over their loyal paying customers by discontinuing Animate, removing it from general availability approximately a year from now. This means that anyone currently using Animate will not be able to run the software, even old versions of it (unless they happen to have a version that predates the subscription bullshit, I guess?) and so all of their projects and files will become permanently inaccessible.
And just to poke a stick in the eyes of all the creatives who make up their loyal, paying customer base, the reason given for the discontinuation is to further their pivot to GenAI.

And if you cant, just don't support Adobe! There are a lot of more moral alternatives out there.
Hell, even if there are not, there is no shortage of evil companies out there that at least will trade your soul for cheap/free products (Looking at you, Canva).
Now if only I could believe that this isn't just the tip of the iceberg and that more and more companies are gonna start pulling the same bullshit to push their AI toys.
