I recently went to a wedding for one of my Jewish cousins.
I personally, do not follow the Jewish faith. And, I have a good sense of humor, unlike that half of my family.
The day of the wedding I posted a status onto my facebook that apparently was overtly offensive to a ton of people who I've never met.
The status was: "Off to a wedding with a bunch of Jews!"
My mother then began getting a bunch of calls from said unknown people, complaining of my facebook.
I was stating a fact.
Apparently religious people get offended by facts.
