Stoat.chat, anyone?

Since Discord will be rolling out worldwide age verification next month, I've been looking into some alternatives. I'd use Telegram if I were still able to access my old one, but the cell number associated with it is inaccessible to me now that I've moved countries, and I've yet to get a secondary SIM card for my phone to create a new Telegram with.
Looking at the options that are available, I've chosen to make an account with Stoat.chat (formerly Revolt). I'm hopeful that Discord won't slam me with the Big Brother crap and will infer my age based upon information that's already available, but should they happen to club me over the head and demand my ID (and if workarounds for facial recognition fail me), I will at least have this option available as an alternative.
highstrunghighroller#4037 is my Stoat handle/identifier if anyone else decides to jump ship. I also have a server, but I'm only giving invites to friends and/or people I trust enough (same goes for my Discord server).

I'm liking it so far. It's visually similar to Discord, but there's more features available without the need for a monthly subscription or server boosters. The server customization is pretty nice!
I been seeing that one pop up a lot recently. I may have to give it a try.

There's been a little bit of service degradation, but I'm chalking that up to the influx of Discord people migrating to the platform. That aside, I'm really liking it so far.
