Damn. Why'd nobody tell me Returnal was absolutely fucking goated. This shit's so cool. Goddamn, Hyperion had me smiling. Haven't enjoyed a fight like that in a long time.
It's so hard to find games with both shooting mechanics AND combat mechanics / real fights. They always forgo one for the other because I assume the average gamer just cannot handle both. To be fair, it's very hard. Especially after you make it to, [Spoiler] for the first time and you pass act 1.
But I have years of Gunz: The Duel experience, among other shooters. This is right at home. But once again, they suggest a controller for something that clearly favors a mouse. This shit must be an absolute nightmare on controller. There IS a gracious amount of auto aim though.
It's on sale right now, on Steam. Would recommend, but I haven't actually finished yet. Been wrapped up in commissions.

Which I'm kinda sad about because unfortunately I don't have a PS5. That's one of the reasons it took me so long to get to Returnal. Had to wait for it to get to PC. I'll wait patiently though.
