Oh, Yeah! I hear there has been a bit of a thing with Discord Hackers.
Just today, someone on Discord contacted me with the Ol’ “Oh Dear, I accidentally reported you” scam!

Also, don’t be hard on yourself for your English, your English is actually really good, from what I have seen!

What are these scams about you saying?

Hi! What they did was impersonate me... contact the last person who bid on my current YCH via Discord and tell them to pay immediately, before the auction ends. They might say I've already finished the auction because I'm in a hurry, or some other silly excuse.

The good thing is that they contacted me to let me know. xx

That's good they contacted you beforehand.
Yeah, the "PAY NOW!" sounded like a major red flag, especially before the Auction was even closed!

Usually, the Rush is a bit of a sign. Like other Scammers who may be like; "I wish to comm you, but let's take this to Discord or Telegram", even when Notes on here will do just fine!

Have you dealt with these types of scams yourself?

If there was ever someone who didn't pay me for a half-body a few years ago, I trusted them blindly and the person never paid me...xx

That is part of the reason why, whenever anyone commissions me, I don’t draw it until it has been paid!
At most, a very rough stick figure doodle of how it may look.

Several years ago, someone tried to commission me, I kept demanding to see it, despite having not paid yet.
I told them repeatedly that I can not do it until they send me payment for it, and they just refused to give me their invoice address. This went back and forth until they blocked me!
I checked their page, and it was full of comments from others saying; “Don’t do art for this guy! They’re a scammer!”.
So, I was fortunate to avoid that scam, Eh!?

usan uno con mi avatar y contactan al ultimo usuario que hizo una puja en mi ultimo YCH, le dice que lo terminé el ych antes de tiempo y le pide que le pague ..

me canso de decir que no uso Discord para las comisiones que lo hago todo por notas privadas y bueno.
