Gosh, imagine a PMD fursuitting larp. That would so cool!~

PMD LARP? So like, an exploration-team thing? That could be interesting. I was more thinking something simpler, like a ranked tournament where everyone writes their fursona name of a piece of paper which then goes into a bag that the organizer would draw two of out of the bag at a time, and those two would duel each other with soft foam swords and the winner would move onto the next round.

That sounds like it would be fun

I've been trying to find fur meet-up groups in Ottawa but it's difficult because the few that are out there seem to be very exclusive and "word-of-mouth only." Some exclusively use Telegram to coordinate things but since I don't have a smart phone I can't use Telegram. Kinda why I've been trying to get in touch with local furs through this site but most don't use this or any public websites anymore.

Why don't you have a smartphone? You can use telegram from a pc but I'm not sure if sign up is possible without a phone number.

Ehhhh...you really want me to go down the list? Okay then.

Reason 1: I already have internet addiction bad enough at home, I don't need to bring it with me everywhere I go (I go outside to unplug aftyer all.)

Reason 2: Not fond of having an actual Hal 9000 in my pocket at all times.

Reason 3: I'd rather not have to deal with a phone plan, I have enough financial stuff on my mind as it is.

Reason 4: I don't like touch screens.

Reason 5: I'm a firm believer that phones should ONLY be for talking and cameras should ONLY be cameras. Combining them all into one... *old man yells at cloud*

I had a flip phone for a while but the battery was crap and even the cheapest pay-as-you-go plan still had $100 worth of minutes that I might use only a fifth of every year that would EXPIRE every year. So when I'm outside the house I'm effectively off the grid, and I find that feeling VERY freeing.

I can see why that all makes sense yeah.
