What's your favorite game genre? Favorite game(s)?
As a certified ‘pro-gamer’, it’s only natural that I have a few favorite games of my own, right? In actuality lol, I’m horrible at completing games due to my typical busyness and… idk, adhd I guess lmao. Nonetheless, though! I tend to heavily enjoy RPG games— or, specifically, JRPGs. I also heavily enjoy ‘Cozy’ games as well! Anything that has an interesting story will typically have my attention. I’m not a fan of shooters or the like, but, I don’t mind watching someone play them whilst I munch on snacks.
Now, regarding my actual favorite games! For your monster-raising RPGS, Digimon absolutely has my heart. However, Pokemon is ofc a childhood favorite. Typical JRPGS, Kingdom Hearts has been beloved since I was young. I also adore the 'Tales of' series, with Tales of Vesperia being among my top three favorite games. Okami is absolutely 'up there' in my favs, SUCH an amazing experience. The Persona Series is heavily beloved, with my favorite being P3 (I played P3P). Absolutely LOVE the Dark Souls franchise/Elden Ring. Though I haven't played it for myself (I plan to!), I watched a playthrough of and heavily enjoyed Red Dead 2. And despite being terrible at it, I absolutely adore the Monster Hunter Franchise. Regarding Cozy Games, my favorite has to be among Rune Factory 4, Fields of Mistria, and Animal Crossing!
And special shout-out to Path of Titan! I've been indulging in more games of these types, and I'm always happy to find more faces to play with.

Is there a place in the world you'd like to visit? 
This question always kinda stumps me because I’m such a homebody lol. To me, the best vacation is one where I can stay home and proceed to do absolutely nothing but sleep for several hours lol. I know I'd absolutely love to visit all over Japan one day, though! I'd also love to go to Barbados, though, since a side of my family is from there.

What is your favorite music genre?
I'm going to be one of 'those' people and say... Genuinely, I love all types of music lol. Well, aside from MAYBE country music. I tend to enjoy, I suppose, 'soft' metal, as well as Jrock. However, in all truth, my favorite genre is soundtrack and OST music! Possibly because I write a lot, but when a song has lyrics, I can't focus lol. I also have a very peculiar ear when it comes to music/soundtracks themselves, and just... they often scratch my brain in ways song with lyrics often can't. This is probably another reason why I love JRPG/RPGS so much because their soundtracks are ALWAYS full of bangers.

What is your favorite anime?
So if it weren't clear lol, I adore anime! I haven't had much time to indulge in it like I used to, but I still really do love it. I enjoy anime of all type tbh. But I suppose my 'roots' lie in Shonen anime. I THINK my first anime was Inuyasha? What quickly followed was Dragon Ball Z, Naruto, and Bleach! My favorite anime (and manga) honestly has to be Jujutsu Kaisen. Despite it being a hot topic of 'is Gege a good writer', the way he writes heavily appeals to me and the way I personally write and develop characters. As such, I absolutely adore his story and how he crafts it. I also heavily enjoyed Wolf's Rain, Mob Psycho, Attack on Titan, Your Name (technically it's an anime movie, but it is AMAZING. Heavily recommend), and... many others lol.

What is your favorite animal?
Like most, wolves for a long time were my favorite lol. Very unique, I know. As I got older, though, I started to really love tigers. Not sure why, but they quickly rose to become my 'number 1'. Polar Bears became a close second, with lions ranking third. Lions, Tigers, and Bears... Oh my! Wolves are still very dear to my heart, though!

What is your favorite color?
Blue! Sorta kinda-ish. Blue is definitely my favorite, I think. But my pseudo-favorite is probably Gold... Especially when paired with black. You present me with a gold/black color scheme, and I will fold 100% of the time. I think baby blue is technically my fav, but idk because I kinda gaslit myself into loving it via... it was my older sister's favorite, and as an annoying younger sister, of COURSE I have to copy her favorite color lol. Yellow and pink are honorary mentions purely because, as a kid, they were my fav flavored starbursts, so ofc they were my fav colors, too.

What is your favorite season?
Hmmm... Summer used to be because I'm an August baby. But... Honestly, too hot LOL. Winter took the place for a bit, but as I've gotten older, I really don't like the cold even if I despise being hot, too. Spring is nice but... too many bees (lol we'll get into this soon...). And my allergies make pollen my number one enemy. So I guess... Fall? It's very pretty with all the colors, and it's usually a nice in between of warm and chill.

What is your dumbest phobia?
Probably my weird fear of bees LOL. I couldn't tell you why, honestly, but bees terrify me. They're cute and fat, I know. I love them in some weird way, but I will 100% walk the other direction. Because why tf are you so LOUD... and stop zipping around in my face! Once, there were a bunch of bees buzzing around my door when I got home from school as a kid, and I'd rather stand out in the scorching heat than try to unlock the door and go home lol. And I did until the neighbor came to my rescue!

Do you have a dream job?
Kinda hard because I def feel like I'm in that stage of life where like... man, I have no idea LOL. For the longest time, I wanted to be a veterinarian. And I was fixated on that... until I actually started to work with animals and worked at a vet. Yeah... nooo, I'm good. I do think I may want to work with animals still, but more so in a Biology field, doing research and studying? Otherwise, medical stuff DOES interest me. I heavily enjoy genetics, and so, I did ponder something like a geneticist or doing research of prevention, understanding, and curing of genetic diseases. But truthfully? No idea.

Do you have any pets? And are there any pets you want to own one day?
I do! My two 'childhood' dogs are two small babies named Bella and Shadow. Bella is a weird... thing. A jack-russell mix who is... again, very weird lol. Love her to pieces, though. Shadow is my slightly grumpy but incredibly affectionate Shih-tzu/poodle mix (we named him 'Shadow' because he will follow you like a Shadow. Also because when I was younger, I loved Sonic. Shadow has a fluffy white patch on his chest akin to, you guessed it, Shadow the Hedgehog).
As far as future pets... I'd love to own a snake one day! Maybe a ball python? But I've never owned a reptile before lol, so it'd be a big learning curve. I'd also love to maybe have a cat one day, too! Otherwise, my dream dog is a Doberman! My sort of 'niche knowledge' is I know a LOT about dogs, including ethical breeding, dog breeds themselves, sports, and etc. I'm very invested in the 'Dog World' lol, and I'm excited to one day enter it myself when I'm able to comfortably afford and take care of a Doberman (they are a... VERY expensive breed folks).

What's a surprising hobby of yours?
Fish keeping! While I don't currently own any fish, I do have a 75-gallon aquarium that I am... slowly trying to get back into building (I tried to do something and it didn't work out LOL). Before this, though, I did keep a 50-gallon tank and a small betta tank. My betta was honestly the only fish I cried over when he got sick and died. Had him for about 3-ish years, randomly got him from some dumb college event. Little did I know he would plunge me into the world of fish keeping lol. Named him 'Sasuke' via my sister's behest, and the little dude had the most amazing personality ever. Still hurts to this day to think about it, tbh. He was my baby boy!

Are there any genres you don't like?
Honestly, I kinda... don't like Sci-Fi? I definitely prefer pure fantasy of all sorts. It's probably why I could never get into Star Wars/Star Trek. Now, some movies/shows in this genre are interesting to me (I do love alien/alien-creatures and interactions with them that aren't purely 'evil, must kill' + new world exploration). But gosh, when it starts to get really techy or with laser guns or galaxy confederations, I kinda zone out lol.

Of course! While I'm shy, I genuinely do enjoy meeting new people. I will preface that I am busy, and so, I am not a fast replier, especially during the weekdays when I work. Additionally, I do not do well with small talk. But I do love goofing off and befriending people if we click. I do not give my Discord/telegram at 'first meet', but after we've talked to each other for a while, I'll probably offer it myself.

How'd you come up with your screen name?
Oh boy, this is a bit embarrassing lol. So, 'Destinesia' was... honestly, just a VERY random thing when I first joined FA years ago. I wanted a pretty word to be my screen name, and the definition seemed to fit my scatterbrained mind pretty well, so... alas, there we are. Now, the nickname I go by and my online alias I've had for a LONG time is 'Silvy'. That comes from over a decade ago, when I first got into online stuff via... Warrior Cats lol. My screenname on the official boards was 'Silvermoon190'. Friends called me 'Silvy' for short, and it just sort of stuck and became something dear to me.

How'd you start writing?
As mentioned, Warrior Cats Official 'Forums' is how I first started roleplaying. A long, long time ago. Prior to that, I think maybe slightly on Quizilla? That's where I wrote some stories/fanfiction! From there, after honing my skills a bit lol, I began to roleplay on jcink/probard websites for whatever caught my interest. This is really what shaped my 'path' as a roleplayer and helped me improve my writing skills and character developing/making skills immensely.

Do you have a sona?
I do not! While I do have 'faces' of my account (Yara initially, and currently Iseldrllyr), none of my characters are considered sona's. They are not representations of me whatsoever. I look at them all as 'characters', and that's pretty much it. I did ponder around getting a dumb, lazy cat-dragon thing designed that embodies some traits of myself that I could use to get art with friends as well but... eh. Eh. I don't think even that would be a Sona in the truest sense of the word.

Why do you like roleplaying?
Truthfully? I was super surprised to see how many people on FA don't like roleplaying! Perhaps it's because I came from roleplay communities, and that's how I really got 'started' on the internet via writing with others. As such, my brain always sort of defaults to it. This is especially true when I create characters (I think to myself, 'how could someone theoretically 'jump' into their story and interact with this character'), which comes with its own detriments when character creating, admittedly.
Nonetheless! I think, regarding FA and its distaste for roleplaying, may be because of the many poor experiences to be had with people trying to randomly ERP with others? That's, likely, given roleplay a somewhat 'bad name' in this community, too, maybe? I'm not sure. For me though, roleplaying is about exploring characters and lore— crafting unique stories that can be shared between each other. I'm incredibly picky with writing because, to me, it's something I want to make sure I always enjoy and becomes something both important to me and long-lasting. It also, IMO, gives you something to 'do' with characters and all those ideas up in your noggin! But this may be because I don't particularly enjoy writing stories for myself, as ironic as it is LOL.

How did you come up with your character's designs?
Through blood, sweat, and tears lol. Designing is such a... process I have a love/hate with. Really, a massive part of it is finding the 'right' artist to work with, and this can just come down to personal experience/preference. Also, knowing what you like and don't like is extremely important. I always try to be incredibly detailed, too, such as giving artists lore tidbits, inspiration, aesthetics, and image references. Of course, you have to know the difference between inspiration and copying. For example, giving an artist an image of Yara and telling them you like her transparent wings and want to do something similar, vs going 'copy this wing shape, color, and transparency exactly'. I like to also develop the character a bit with their concepts/lore before I start designing, since these play important factors in how they'll be designed. Lastly, organization is a big factor, too! I literally will organize everything I give the artist in detailed sections about each important 'area' (Face, Horns, Wings, Overall body, Color Scheme, etc), because I personally like to work bit by bit rather than multiple areas at once. While I'm happy to give a few tips, I don't really enjoy offering design help unless we're good friends because it's... honestly an exhausting process for me + our tastes could be wildly different!

What got you into the FA community?
I had no idea wtf FA was several years back. I just randomly started developing an interest in art and actually owning characters/commissions, especially as I began to have more income to work with. I eventually ended up here after I won a bid on Yara's OG adopt design. I really was NOT super active on FA back in the day and often disappeared for months at a time lol. I've sense became regularly normal with uploading and taking my own characters/lore more seriously! As well as trying to interact with the community more and more! ▾▾▾
How do you come up with your lore?
Again, through blood, sweat, and tears lol. In truth, a lot of it starts as concepts, tropes, or inspiration from things I've seen/watched/read in the past, and then begins the process of 'cooking' in my brain, where it develops and flourishes. Many sticky notes are sacrificed during this time, as I write and jot down notes and sudden ideas to eventually fine-tune into something that I am satisfied with. It is a VERY long process, as I'm very particular and picky about my lore and development of my characters. For example, I hate it if two characters seem too similar to one another, even in personality lol.

Oof that is sooo difficult because there are so many! I really do not video game soundtracks a lot, including a lot from Square Enix in particular. A lot of JRPG osts find themselves in this mix. I’ve recently been absolutely fiending over some Elden ring and dark souls osts though!
