Back with a vengence

Yeah, so... let's just say 2025 wasn't a very good year for me, or for a lot of people. Like I've been battling depression, dealing with family issues, feeling tired and hopeless and worn down all the time.
But about a month ago some spark of joy came back into my life somehow. What changed I couldn't say, but I was feeling hopeful and that trying to live my best life and do the things that bring me happiness was worth it and meaningful again. I cleaned my mess of a room, started going out and taking walks, and most of all, started learning Japanese. Granted, it's a long road to get fluent in a new language, but I was picking up tidbits here and there and things were making sense to me. I started practicing daily and I'm almost through the first step of learning the hiragana. I can recognize a lot of the symbols and mostly identify them right at this point, although the I and E sounds are still a bit tricky to keep straight (I sounds like a long "E" and E sounds like a short "E"). I've picked up a few basic things like some basic sentence structure (verbs always go at the end), a small amount of vocabulary and a few basic kanji; things I'll be elaborating and focusing more on after the alphabet learning phase. At the moment I'm just going at my own pace, seeing slow but steady progress, and it's helping keep me happy.
As far as the furry stuff goes... I'm absolutely back for that too. Already got a couple pieces in the works with
DolphinProject and am looking into working with
Dolorcin and
Jotun22 again currently as well. So if you enjoy the kind of stuff I commission, there's actually new stuff coming this year, I swear!
Glad to be back and here's to a great rest of 2026 and beyond!
