A lot has changed since I last logged on here, not just with FA itself but also me. My profile is now woefully out-of-date, and I have pretty much been keeping it as a time capsule to a version of me that no longer exists (and being 50/50 on either updating it or just keeping it as the time capsule it currently is).
Probably the only thing that has stayed the same is I'm still playing my guitar, flying my drones, and still coding. Other than that, I am still ZZ Cat, although I prefer Cassie Robinson these days. Yes I have transitioned and those that know me are already aware of this (and have done for at least a good six years now), and this means I am a completely different person nowadays and I'm not the edgy twenty-something I used to be. I'm nowhere near as misanthropic either, a bit more empathic, compassionate, self-aware, and a lot more emotionally mature. I know I used to be "rough around the edges" and come off as abrasive. Now, I'm apparently sharp around the edges, but reality is I don't tolerate bullshit any more; and I have let go of the toxic company I kept. Hell, I moved out of Ohai in 2023 and back up to Whangārei with my partner and we been here since. Life is good. =^/.^=
I have shut down most of my social media pages, including my Facebook... especially my Facebook. Far too much negativity over there for my liking. Nowadays, I am mainly over on Bluesky, Reddit, and Discord. Although I am not linking them, 'cause I don't know if folks still use FA any more. 'Cause I seldom use this, but keeping it around anyway. As for my Twitter, I shut that down before Musk bought the platform. I got outta there while that whole shtick was going down, and turns out I dodged one helluva bullet. My YouTube page is still up, I just have not bothered to post anything to it over the years... and it's unlikely I will post content to it, at this stage.
As for Cat herself, I have developed her as a proper character now (and realised I have actually been developing her as a character since I was a kid), and she has a long and complex history that I won't go into detail here. But a wee bit of tidbit for y'all is "Cat" is actually her first name and "ZZ" are the initials of her middle-name and surname.
Oh! By the way! Before I forget. She/her/they/them. Yup. That's my pronouns, 'cause I consider myself MtF trans and gender non-conformist.
Any-hoot... I actually forgot I have a FurAffinity page. So I may or may not make some changes to it. I don't know at this point. We'll see what happens eh.
