Just a small rant journal...

After getting an interview for what seemed a dream job, the recruiter (who up to that point only gave positive feedback on my interview) eventually had to inform me that despite my past experience in the field as an intern, "the company has ultimately chosen someone with longer, actual worker experience".
Different job application, different recruiter, I get called back for a first, quick screening on the phone. After my presentation and some question, the recruiter informs me that sadly they won't forward my application "because the client company is seeking Junior profiles"... so I'm too experienced now? Overqualified perhaps?
I'm so tired of this BS. I'm tired of the dodgy answers and mind-games questions from recruiters. I'm tired of explaining to recruiters who understand nothing of my field, what the job I'm looking for consists in, only for these people to be then put in charge of deciding which candidate looks more promising based on zero understanding of the matter. And I'm also tired of companies who want young, cheap candidates with somehow decades of experience...
It's impossible to please everybody, it's all a numbers game in the end, but I'm all out of lottery tickets right now.
The frustration makes me demotivated, which in turn impacts my art and commission projects too...
