Announcing the re-release of "Addiction"
General
For those who haven't read it, Addiction is a novel I've been working on for a while now. It follows Alex and Dustin, rough collie twins navigating their senior year of high school in rural West Virginia, and a relationship neither of them planned for. It's erotica, but it's also trying to be something more: a story about loneliness, family, bad decisions made for understandable reasons, and what happens when you can't undo the choices you've made.
I wrote it over ten years ago, and while I've done my best with it, I've gotten a lot better at writing and editing. The old version has good bones, but it needed a good line edit. That line-edit turned into a full-blown developmental overhaul.
Over the past several months, I've gone back through the entire manuscript with a fine-tooth comb. Line edits, punctuation, dialogue, pacing, prose cleanup. The story itself hasn't changed, but the telling is sharper now. Cleaner. The version some of you may have read before was a draft. I've added new scenes, new chapters, and extra content, all while cutting the fluff and streamlining.
I'm planning to start posting chapters soon. I'll be serializing it here, a few chapters a week, so you can follow along or binge it once it's complete, your call.
More details coming. Just wanted to let you know it's happening.
I'm also announcing a sequel that will fully dramatize the old epilogue, and give some details into our favorite deviant's lives.
I'm looking for artists and potential collaborators to get more art of these two made. Please let me know if you or anyone you know is interested.

I hope that everyone appreciates your hard work and gives you all the praise it deserves.
I think back to the start of my little writing experiment. Barely out of the starting gate, and it was stolen, reworked and... well, I do consider it a tribute, these days... formatted for television.
May your work be honored and not taken for profit.
