Five years of writing

General
Five years ago at an MFF room party, one of my friends, I can’t remember who, dared me to write some furry erotica after I boasted of some limited writing capabilities. I’d written creatively on and off, but most of my stories just sort of dead ended. I have no formal training in creative writing, and barely took any courses in English. Over the Thanksgiving weekend I sat down at my computer and hammered out my first story.
I had no idea what I was doing. I had no idea what plot was. Character development had no real meaning to me. I didn’t know how to begin a story, let alone end it. My perverse mind could crank out a decent sex scene, but that was just about it. To compensate for all my lack of knowledge, I complicated my stories with garish language and incessantly long fucking scenes.
I published my first story here on FA exactly five years ago. Another chapter followed a few weeks later, then another. New characters and new stories popped up here and there and a few of you liked them. Five years in and I’m just now starting to feel like I have hold on this whole characterization thing. Plot and structure still elude me, but at least my language is getting better and I’ve learned a lot about grammar and style.
In the last five years I’ve gotten over a thousand viewers and more by the day. I’m close to 20k page views and I’ve got thousands of favorites. I write to satisfy the creative urge. The deep longing to make something, to craft it into something unique, and to say something I think deserves to be said. I write for you all. I want you to enjoy it and take part in what takes a lot of energy and sometimes costs me my health. Every watch, fave, and view really feels gratifying in a very deep way. For all this I thank you.
You all rock!

Just keep on writing because you want to write, because you love to write. That's pretty much it. The rest will fall in place. Good luck!
I've rambled on to long and as for some final words I hope to see more straight stuff by you (not a request but more of a suggestion), and I'm looking forward (but also kind of sad) to the conclusion of Addiction, I have some question, and an idea I would like to propose but I'll wait till the story is fully released before I ask them unless they are answered in the upcoming chapters. Until then stay safe and happy holidays :)
It's pretty impressive and shocking that you've only been writing for half a decade :D Wow.
I'm not the best at praise and comments, but just know that i have become a pretty big fan reading Addiction. It grabbed me from the beginning, and everything is so believable.
Keep being awesome!
