I've started to get art of the Metempsychosis characters and it's been quite something. Anyone who knows me knows the series is very, very personal to me and each central character is near and dear to my heart. So, seeing Rubber for the first time rendered so well really hit me. For the first time, well, maybe ever, I feel like I'm staring through a mirror. I see Rubber and I feel soothed and happy.

Emotionally, I'm going through a lot. It's been a lot of work rewriting, retouching all the series and working on brand new chapters, especially since my long-time mate's passing last year. But the art I'm getting and the comments/watches/favs/DMs I've had (thank you all!) make me think it's been worth it.
