Guard act is out of commitie in the senate

The GUARD Act (S.3062) has not yet passed the full Senate. It was unanimously advanced by the Senate Judiciary Committee on April 30, 2026, but a floor vote in the full Senate has not been scheduled as of May 7, 2026.
This bill basically forces age verification in AI chatbots and while I don't use them the idea of them trying to push and pave the way for diigitalID bs isn't acceptable to anyone.
Contact your Senators and tell em to oppose these IDs instead urge them to encourage businesses to educate their customers on parental controls, education on how to avoid dangerous websites, etc.
It's not a miracle cure, but it's still better than the shit that's going on.
