(random) Endangered Print Project
A couple of nature artists have started the Endangered Print Project, selling art prints to fund conservation efforts for the species pictured. What's special is that they make only as many prints as members of that species survive... only 45 Amur leopards exist in the wild, so only 45 prints of the leopard artwork exist. Only 45... the entirety of the species, so to speak, could fit into a single binder.
They also have a wonderful species-you've-never-heard-of blog. Purple toad? Jerboa with ears bigger than its head? Blood-squirting lizard? Admire and enjoy.
