Laptop Fixed! ALSO SOS
As the subject line says, my laptop is now fixed. But I'm thinking of moving my owrk to the ole' desktop. Either way, I now have editing and scanning capability again, so all work will be back on schedule.
ALSO.
I've been having painstaking troubles with faces lately, I need some help. If anybody who bothers to read this has some free time, I'd be super grateful if you'd give me a few tips.

At least, that's how I learned. And I still am always trying to find ways to improve my work.
Something that might help though is to check out some of the various art tutorials, either online or in books. I don't think any of them will make you a full-blown artist overnight,(they didn't for me), but they can point you in the right direction, and then with practice, you'll discover what techniques work for you, and which don't.
You can also look at other artist's work, and really try to break down what they're doing. Notice how they draw the face, the angles and curves, their linework. Then use that as a loose base for your own work. Start off rough-blocking the the figures to get the proportions and poses right, then add detail. Don't be upset if/when your art doesn't turn out as good as theirs; Again, it's a long process.
Do you have any good resources for expressions? I've searched DA and FA, and I haven't found much that is helpful....
