Wednesday -

Road-tripped it down to San Jose:

12:00 PM_2:00 PM - Took the 41 -> Seattle, 194 from Seattle -> Federal Way
2:00 PM_6:00 PM - Got a ride with the lovely -> Vancouver
1:30 AM - Rode with and -> Portland
2:00 AM_10:00 AM - Picked up SethPup and droooooooove -> Mt. Shasta pass thingy, around Redding.
12:00 PM (noon)_3:00 PM - Had to turn around 5-10 miles to buy tire chains :< Standstill blizzard for TWO-THREE HOURS while we waited for the roads to plow... total of five-six hours trying to get through the pass before we could de-chain
7:00 PM_10:00 PM - Got through the pass and drove down to Stockton to pick up -> San Jose! :D
The hotel is really nice, did a small bit of exploring with Maru. There's a ton more con room space than the old hotel, the lobby is nice (there was a live band playing when we got there) but this place feels insanely expensive and exceptionally fancy. Looking forward to some California-ing tomorrow, and con pre-reg.







Thursday -
Woke up really late so actually didn't do the whole Berkeley adventure I was planning. :( Which was fine actually, went to McDonald's for breakfast :D Safeway trip, got my room with , , , , and the arrival of my husband , who remained attached to me the entirety of the con.
Spent the night with Kiyosh, Maru, Kit, , , and Bacani. Went to sleep at 3 AM.
Pre-reg was fast. :D Spent like 2 min in the line.










Friday -
Dealer's den opened today, Nova bought a Tree Of Life leather satchel, and the arrival of the sexy , where we ate lunch/breakfast at Johnny Rocket's. We also met up with Drummin, and Nova cut my hair in the hotel room. :) I only attended one panel, Loser's On Stage II, I left about halfway through to meet up with Blacky/"Waffles :3" and his boyfriend Pharas. I wish I had written this day down right after and not three days later because I don't remember too much of it. Oh yeah, was locked out of the room because I left my wallet inside and didn't really want to wake anyone up. =/ Luckily we had been conforming to our two 4 hour sleep schedule so it wasn't too bad to get some proper rest. ;)






Saturday

haha no just kidding. The day was amazing! Me, Nova, Blacky, and Pharas, woke up at one to go eat at Subway and unfortunately missed the fursuit parade but we met up with on the way back to the hotel. Found wearing an asian laborer hat (he was the only one I found who dressed up for the theme =/), , and other various furs I haven't seen for a while. :> There's also a lot of people I met who I didn't get contact info (again), I better see you again next year. >:| Did various hanging and wanderings around the con, went to the smash tournament, danced afterwards (where I saw , , , and Saurin) and went to a small room party with Bad and Drummin where I met Greymist, , MaloWolf, and Scrambles (first time seeing him out of suit! o.o). (I'm not even sure if these are their FA's =/) We didn't spend too much time inside, so me and Badinage adventured out into the lobby and were picked up by some people named Rachel and Greg, where we wandered the con and crashed some rooms. Honestly the details are all fuzzy, by this time I was smashed, the only details I remembered was the room numbers and one of them belonged to someone named Greivere... I also remember having a GREAT time, there were too many names to remember though. :D Me and Bad started heading back at god knows when to look for Nova, we found him and Scrambles heading upstairs already, hehe. Passed out in the room.













Sunday
Not much to do today, the con began to die down as me and Nova packed for leaving the con for another year! D: Went down to to lobby where me, Nova, Tea, Greymist, Feartree, Drummin, and some other guy with a name that started with an R went out to eat at flames, afterwards me and went to Kiyosh's room for one final hangout. Then we left! :)
