I thought I was going to get lucky and manage to stay away from the nasty bug going around down here. I was wrong.

I woke up in the middle of the night yesterday, freezing. So I knew I had the fever. No big deal, take some fever reducer, pile on the blankets and crawl back into bed. Felt good in the morning, but it was short lived. I spent most of yesterday at work freezing and bundled up in my coat.

Had a couple of friends over for dinner, who I'm pretty sure got me sick to begin with :-P.

Now I'm sitting at work, in my coat, trying to get passed all of the achyness, so I can get some work done. Luckily it's slow right now, so there's no reason for me to be moving to fast. I'm sticking to my meds and practically drowning myself in liquids, so it shouldn't last more than a couple days.

Seriously looking forward to the end of the work day though.
