How long do you spend on a piece?

Just curious about the way other people work. How long do you typically spend on a piece?
I am constantly working in different tools and with different levels of detail so my time varies wildly between an hour and as much as a month, but I'd say that most of my finished pieces are probably in the 4-8hr range. Just wondering how other people work.

FA+

But now, I've changed and wouldn't spend more than 2 or 3 hours in penciling and inking and another hour coloring stuff on Photoshop.
Comics are another matter, though. A strip of Alice Otter still takes me its 4 or 5 hours. Just take a look at the backgrounds and you'll see where that time goes. I'd prolly shift to the 'faster-simples-photoshopped' technique in projects other than Alice Otter 'cause I like her that way. :)
