I also doubt one would be able to "look" and stay legal either. It's like selling alcohol to a youth so long as they don't drink it.

Well, I still think you are OK because I don't believe that that furries are covered by this law. It all really depends on how British law defines a "person".

It depends on what age group that is targeted too. What if the UK decides to block anything under legal age (which is what in the UK, 16-18?)? Even if you eliminate the cub art, you still have pre-teens to barely legal folks on here... That would mean more then just cub art would have to be scrubbed out of the site for it to not get blacklisted there.

The Act sets the age at 18.

Ahhh.. Well, if they blacklist FA with what minors are on here and with the cub art supported, then either FA will make this site mature an' axe all the younguns so the UK can get on here or nothing will happen, keeping the site as it is but loosing a great number of furs on the UK side since they can't get on here =C JOY.

It will be a great shame if this site is banned by the government.

I'll admit, I'm kinda on the fence here... I don't really like the cub stuff and consider that the furry version of pedophilia (I happen to follow the rule of 'don't like it, don't look at it', so, I'm not bothered by FA allowing posting of it. ...does bother me how they'll ban non-furs and futa or whatever but dance around cub though, despite the cry against it).

HOWEVER, I am a major fan of being against turning an opinion into a law. Sure, I don't like cub/pedophilia, but I'd rather not look for it/avoid it then have a site that happens to host or like it become illegal. If it were up to the admin/owner/operator of the site to be like "shit, this isn't good, if we host this it'll be banned in another country, I better revise the ToS and purge the cub art so we don't get blacklisted there", then sure, whatev', it's a site management thing.

If this does make FA blacklisted in the UK, I wonder if 'Neer will lift the cub thing....

I've been watching the development of this particular law for some time now. I'll admit that its a good thing to try and stop kiddie porn, but this is a very mixed situation. Especially if they start slinging out guilt by association. I don't like babyfur crap at all, but if they try and make a site like this "illegal", that's kinda fucked up at the same time. Slippery slope and all that.

I would additionally think that knowingly going on a website that hosts what is considered child pornography is not exactly vanilla. One may not be actively seeking it, but the law is still vague if you know that it is there.
